I’m Jason Lanham and I’m running for Southgate City Council because residents deserve a city government that listens early, communicates clearly, and follows through on the everyday issues that shape our neighborhoods. I am interested in responsible development, maintaining infrastructure before it becomes a major problem, improving our public spaces, and sensibly using tax payer money to Southgate a community people are proud to call home. I will bring a practical, transparent, and resident-focused approach to every decision.
My focus is to maintain existing infrastructure before we have a very expensive, but avoidable situation to pursue.
We have several public spaces that have potential to be improved. The area around the civic center, including the lake area, ball field, and sand volleyball court, have potential to get more use by the public.
Have questions or suggestions? I would love to hear from you!
